very complex nose, the work of the amphorae is felt throughout, their porosity in fact favoured the interchange of oxygen with the outside, enhancing what are the varietal scents. The work of the wood then arrives, with slight notes of toasting and chocolate to give elegance and a touch of classicism.

CANTINA DOVERI

The Doveri winery was founded in 2011 in Cortona.
A choice dictated by a passion for wine and for Syrah, a grape variety that finds in the gentle hills of Cortona the ideal place to express itself.
The winery is very small, (about 2 hectares) but with the sole objective of producing a great wine with the utmost respect for nature.

Leuta-Wines-1
21,5 hectares (approximately 60 acres) of land near Cortona, not far from Lake Trasimeno and Montepulciano. This land is now the Leuta Estate. Positioned at 310 meters above sea-level, the land is perfect for grape-growing, as soil studies clearly indicate.

Aromas
Notes of small black fruits flanked by an aroma of dark chocolate and tobacco intertwined with mineral notes reminiscent of graphite and gunpowder, sensations of umami and balsamic mint.
Round and smooth taste with good body and excellent acidity. Sensation of blueberry jam supported by excellent sapidity. Long mineral persistence combined with mature, delicate and silky tannins.

Red meats and mature cheeses, especially blue cheeses.

Lutea Sauvignon Blanc IGT

It comes from a vineyard cultivated in Spormaggiore and Vigo di Ton in Trentino – IT – and is the result of the belief that each territory is distinct because it is endowed with a particular terroir. The intrinsic characteristics of the soil and the distinctiveness of the climate guarantee the production of wines of particular intensity and elegance.

Straw yellow with greenish hues

Aromas
Distinct aromatic notes of tomato leaf, elderflower, lime, hawthorn, passion fruit and sage.

It confirms the complexity found on the nose with the addition of a very pleasant savory note accompanied by white peach, green apple and nettle. Excellent citrus finish and decisively persistent.

Best served with

Shines as an aperitif or with seafood, especially oysters.  It also pairs well with  asparagus, and legume and vegetable soups.

Poliziano
A story of over sixty years of dedication. Professionalism and the desire to improve in the search for the most advanced viticulture and oenology techniques. The local variety par excellence, Sangiovese, which in the Montepulciano area is known as ‘Prugnolo Gentile’, has been studied and exalted, achieving profound knowledge and full control of the vineyards.

 In recent years we have resumed the production of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Roussanne and Malvasia clones, and the new Ambrae label was born.

16 months in steel followed by 3 months in bottle.

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (approx. 20°) using selected yeasts.

In 2006, convinced of the unique potential of Merlot grown in the Pliocene clays of Cortona, we began bottling In Violas.

Ageing

Fermentation and maceration take place in ‘truncated cone’ vats for a duration of 18-22 days.

We are located in San Giorgio Canavese, Piedmont, between Turin and Ivrea. We cultivate 13 hectares of vineyards. It is almost all Erbaluce, an ancient white vine native to Canavese. The rest are always native vines: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Neretto, Freisa.

This is the Erbaluce cru, the heart vineyard of Casa Cieck. A historic vineyard over 50 years old that hugs the hill of San Giorgio, 320 metres above sea level.

12 months in steel, 6 months in bottle

Colour
Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections.

Aromas
The bouquet is fragrant, with notes of pear and hawthorn, accompanied by a lasting mineral sensation.

Taste
It has structure and power, the body and acidity form a perfect balance, on the finish the sapidity dominates the aftertaste.

San Giorgio, Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG Spumante – Brut
It is the company’s first sparkling wine. After a course on sparkling wine making in Champagne, in Épernay, Remo Falconieri decided to experiment with the
sparkling of Erbaluce.

Ageing
136 months on the lees.
Fermentation at a controlled temperature. After maturing on the lees for at least 24 months, the bottles undergo rémuage (topping off) on the pupitres and dégorgement (disgorgement).
After a further 6 months of bottle ageing, the San Giorgio sparkling wine is ready to be uncorked.

Colour
Pale straw yellow with clear greenish reflections.

Perlage
Fine and persistent with voluminous and evanescent mousse.

Taste
In the mouth, it is characterised by structure and fullness on the palate, with hints of almond on the finish and a pleasantly tannic perception.

Rosé Bru, Quality Sparkling Wine
Ageing: at least 30 months on the lees Fermentation at a controlled temperature.
The wine is then bottled to start the re-fermentation process in the bottle for a maturation period of 24 months. The bottles undergo rémuage (topping off) carried out manually on pupitres and dégorgement (disgorgement). After a further 6 months of bottle ageing, the rosé Brut sparkling wine is ready to be uncorked.
